PM Pediatric Care is expanding its pediatric urgent care team, offering in-person and telemedicine evaluations for pediatric and young adult patients. Work under the Regional Medical Officer with procedures and radiology on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to critically think, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR (eCW experience preferred).
• BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for in-person and telemedicine patients.
• Perform procedural care including abscess drainage and laceration repair.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretation with radiology over-reads.
• Oversee patient flow and supervise staff and trainees on shift.
• Maintain operations by following policies and reporting changes.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Engage in ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.
• Assist with complaints and participate in service recovery when needed.
• Improve efficiency and patient experience in urgent care flow and antibiotic stewardship.
