Job summary

Pediatrics On Demand in Oak Lawn, IL is expanding and seeking a local, licensed board certified Pediatrician with ER/Urgent Care/Primary Care experience to serve patients from birth to 21 years old.

The physician will diagnose and treat illnesses, coordinate with specialists, respond to pediatric emergencies, and provide high-quality care in a warm, family-centered setting. Illinois license and DEA registration with FDA, CPR/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics.
• Licensed in Illinois with valid DEA registration.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in high-volume pediatric care is preferred.
• Skilled in ER/urgent care and primary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Record patient histories and maintain accurate records.
• Prescribe medications and provide vaccines when appropriate.
• Explain procedures and test results to patients and families.
• Respond to pediatric emergencies and coordinate with specialists.
