Job summary

PM Pediatric Care in Paramus, NJ seeks pediatricians to join a vibrant team providing evidence-based pediatric urgent care in a busy private practice setting with on-site x-ray and lab services. Roles support in-person and telemedicine patients, with a flexible schedule of 12–36 hours per week (PT/FT).

Physicians evaluate and treat pediatric and young adult patients under PEM guidelines, with a strong focus on patient experience, training, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience.
• Experience with EMR (eCW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for in-person and telemedicine patients; manage febrile infants/children, ENT infections, abdominal pain, respiratory distress, asthma.
• Perform procedural care including abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and wound care.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretation with radiology over-reads where applicable.
• Oversee patient flow and daily office functions with other providers and staff.
• Maintain operations by following policies and reporting changes to management.
• Collaborate with onsite and telemedicine teams to complete daily tasks, review lab/radiology results, and respond to inquiries.
