Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is expanding its pediatric urgent care team, offering evidence-based pediatric medicine with an emphasis on patient experience. The role supports in-person and telemedicine care under the Regional Medical Officer, managing diverse, high-acuity cases across a private-practice ED-like setting.

Join 70+ PEM providers in a mission-driven environment with strong community relationships and on-site radiology and labs. Flexible 12–36 hour per week schedules (PT/FT) offered.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Pediatrics.
• Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience.
• Excellent computer skills and EMR proficiency (eCW preferred).
• Ability to think critically, multitask, and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for in-person and telemedicine patients.
• Perform procedural care including abscess drainage and wound closure.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretations with over-reads where applicable.
• Oversee patient flow and oversee staff and trainees on shift.
• Maintain operations by following policies and reporting changes to management.
• Collaborate with onsite and telemedicine teams to complete daily tasks and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
