Care for Kids in Houston is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Pediatric Urgent Care team. You will provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients in a collaborative, fast-paced setting across multiple clinics.

Required credentials include Texas RN/APRN licensure, NCP/PNP or FNP certification, a PA license, and NCCPA certification with at least 2 years of pediatric practice. BLS required; PALS within 90 days of hire. Travel between sites may be necessary.

Qualifikationen

• Texas RN/APRN licensure current and unencumbered.
• PNP or FNP national certification recognized by Texas Board.
• Texas PA license current with NCCPA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of NP/PA practice; pediatric experience preferred.
• Current BLS; PALS within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric illnesses and injuries.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as appropriate.
• Develop and implement pediatric treatment plans.
• Provide education to patients and families on diagnoses and care.
• Document encounters accurately in the EHR and coordinate with team.
• Travel between clinic locations within the region as needed.
