Job summary

Allied Urgent Care in Franklin Square, NY seeks a full-time pediatric urgent care provider to deliver urgent care for infants to young adults. You will diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries, perform procedures, and educate families in a fast-paced, child-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Medical License.
• Current DEA Registration.
• PALS certification.
• Pediatric Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner.
• AthenaOne experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients, from infancy through young adulthood.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a pediatric urgent care setting.
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal.
• Deliver clear communication, education, and reassurance to patients and families.
• Collaborate closely with providers, nursing staff, and operational teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the AthenaOne EMR.
• Support innovative care delivery models, including telemedicine services.
