Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking Advanced Practice Providers for evening and weekend coverage across Selden, Commack, and North Babylon locations. Roles involve evaluating and treating pediatric and young adult urgent care patients in-person and via telemedicine, under supervision of the Regional Medical Officer.

Qualifications

Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification.
Active RN license in applicable states.
MS in Nursing or Doctoral/MSN-PA studies required.
Minimum 2 years pediatric APP experience or 1 year in urgent care or emergency medicine.
Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assess and treat acute injury and illness in-person and via telemedicine.
Oversee patient flow and supervision of providers and staff on shift.
Maintain operations by following policies and reporting changes to management.
Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and maintain data security.
Engage in ongoing training, continuing education, and professional development.
Improve efficiency, antibiotic stewardship, and overall patient experience.
