APG Urgent Care - Franklin Square in Franklin Square, NY is seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Urgent Care Provider to serve families across Nassau County and the surrounding metro area. You’ll deliver high-quality, compassionate pediatric urgent care in a child-focused environment beyond traditional office hours.

Ideal candidates hold a New York medical license, current DEA registration, and experience in Pediatric Urgent Care or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pediatrics, Pediatric Urgent Care, or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Comfortable managing acute illnesses and minor injuries independently.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to children and families.

Responsabilités

• Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients, from infancy through young adulthood
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a pediatric urgent care setting
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
• Deliver clear communication, education, and reassurance to patients and families
• Collaborate closely with providers, nursing staff, and operational teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the athenaOne EMR
• Support innovative care delivery models, including telemedicine services
