Job summary

CHoC Urgent Care Lumberton is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will work with providers to deliver high-quality patient care and act as a liaison between patients, families, and the care team.

The role requires an LPN license in North Carolina, 3 years of clinical experience (pediatrics preferred), and proficiency with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed by the NC Board of Nursing (NCNB).
• 3 years’ clinical work experience; pediatric immunization experience preferred.
• Attains age-appropriate CME regularly.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and initial assessment.
• Administer medications per medical orders and document in chart.
• Obtain patient charts and prep patients for visits.
• Perform vital signs and basic screenings as directed by providers.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and proper medical supplies.
