Job summary

Urgent Care for Children (UC4C) is expanding our Huntsville, Alabama team with Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners to provide after-hours pediatric care. You will deliver timely evaluations, diagnoses, and non-emergent treatments for children in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (or related field) with NP or PA certification.
• Active state license, DEA registration, and BLS/ACLS required.
• Minimum 2 years in pediatrics or urgent care.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and common software tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to educate families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for non-emergent pediatric illnesses and injuries.
• Apply sound clinical judgment for interventions, testing, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps.
• Document encounters accurately and in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to provide coordinated, safe care.
