Job summary

PM Pediatric Care seeks Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric or urgent care/ER experience to join our team. Under local leaders, APPs evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care, including telemedicine, with oversight of other staff on shift.

Responsibilities include managing acute conditions, performing common procedures, radiograph review, and ensuring efficient operations. We offer flexible scheduling from 12 to 36 hours per week, with no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; ER/urgent care preferred.
• Active ANCC or NCCPA certification.
• Active RN and NP/PA license where treating patients.
• MS in Nursing or PA Studies required.
• Minimum 2 years pediatric APP experience (or 1 year urgent care/ER).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute pediatric injuries and illnesses in urgent care or telemedicine settings.
• Perform urgent care procedures (abscess drainage, foreign body removal, laceration repair).
• Interpret radiographs with radiologist input where applicable.
• Oversee patient flow and operations for in-person and telemedicine visits.
• Adhere to policies, ensure safety, and report changes to management.
• Collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams to complete daily tasks.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Engage in ongoing internal training and professional development.
• Assist with service recovery and patient feedback.
