Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is actively expanding and looking for pediatricians to join our vibrant team, which includes over 70 PEM providers. Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Officer, physicians are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric and young adult urgent care patients in both in-person and telemedicine settings.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; Pediatric ER, General Pediatrics, or Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification.
• Active RN (if applicable) and NP/PA state license where treating patients.
• MS in Nursing, Doctoral in Nursing, or MS in PA Studies.
• Minimum 2 years independent pediatric clinical experience as an APP or 1 year in urgent care or emergency.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for in-person and telemedicine patients.
• Perform procedural care including abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretation with radiology over-reads.
• Oversee patient flow and supervise providers, staff, and trainees.
• Maintain operations by following policies and safety standards.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Update knowledge through internal training and CME opportunities.
• Support service recovery and address patient complaints.
• Focus on efficiency to improve urgent care flow and antibiotic stewardship.
