Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team, leading acute management of pediatric musculoskeletal injuries and bridging injury to recovery without ER visits.

The role requires pediatric-focused NP or PA training, a year of pediatric clinical experience, and current WA licensure with national certification where applicable. Full-time, with weekday afternoon/evening hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing with a pediatric or family NP focus.
• One year of work experience in pediatric or family-focused clinical area.
• Active clinical licensure and national certification as relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assume primary responsibility for clinical management in the urgent care.
• Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, order/interpret tests, prescribe meds, and create evidence-based plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Direct or participate in case management and continuing care for seamless transitions.
• Contribute to quality improvement, education, and research for patients and families.
