Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Imaging Technologist to support pediatric imaging at the Burnet Campus.

The role requires preparing patients for procedures, performing exams per protocol, and collaborating with Radiology to coordinate care for infants, children, and adolescents.

Applicants should be a graduate of an ultrasound program, with ARDMS/ARRT certification or eligibility; pediatric certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Ultrasound Accredited Program OR equivalent.
• Registered ARDMS or ARRT(S) or eligible.
• Registered ARDMS or ARRT(S) within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: ARDMS Pediatric Sonography Certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in ultrasound and share expertise with team.
• Prepare patients and families for procedures; perform exams per protocol.
• Lead process improvement activities and measure outcomes.
• Communicate with patients, families and staff courteously.
• Act as patient advocate; address concerns and provide education.

Ultrasound Accredited Program OR equivalent
