Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist for the Burnet Campus in Cincinnati. The role supports the Ultrasound Department in delivering high-quality imaging and patient care on a rotating schedule for a part-time position.

The successful candidate will be credentialed in ultrasound with ARDMS/ARRT(S) eligibility and ideally hold ARDMS Pediatric Sonography certification. Prior pediatric imaging experience is valuable in this setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Ultrasound Accredited Program OR or equivalent.
• Registered ARDMS or ARRT(S) or eligible.
• Registered ARDMS or ARRT(S) within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: ARDMS Pediatric Sonography Certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Resource - Demonstrate advanced competence and communicate with team members to support growth.
• Patient Care - Prepare patients and families for procedures/exams and follow protocols/guidelines.
• Process Improvement - Identify and lead process improvement activities and measure results.
• Communication - Interact courteously with patients, families and employees; provide information as needed.
• Customer Service - Act as a patient advocate and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
