Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a Research Data Associate - ECHO to support an NIH-funded study on how early-life environmental exposures affect child health. You will perform pediatric ultrasound imaging (abdominal, renal, neurovascular, cardiovascular) and coordinate participant communication with accuracy and empathy.

Responsibilities include collecting biospecimens, managing clinical data, ensuring data integrity, and traveling between Manhattan and Brooklyn as visits require.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARDMS/CCI certifications required for radiologic tech practice.
• 1+ year of technologist experience in imaging or ultrasound.
• Ability to coordinate participants and manage study data.

Responsibilities

• Administer pediatric ultrasound imaging (abdominal, renal, neurovascular, cardiovascular) per study protocols.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and document imaging results accurately.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety during procedures.
• Identify abnormalities and communicate findings to investigators promptly.
• Coordinate participant scheduling, informed consent, and follow-up communications.
• Manage data entry and ensure data integrity in study databases.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance.
