Acton Medical Associates, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Pediatric Triage Nurse to support AMA-PC on site in Acton, MA. You will use nursing process to assess patient needs, triage by phone, educate families, and coordinate timely visits with physicians.

Weekend rotation required, strong clinical skills and EMR proficiency are essential. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Graduate of approved nursing school.
• Massachusetts nursing license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of ambulatory care nursing for adults and/or pediatric illnesses.
• Knowledge of EMR, scheduling and word processing software.

Responsabilidades

• Triage patients over the telephone and assess concerns.
• Provide patient education about diagnosis, treatment, medications and diet.
• Make referrals/coordinate visits with physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and documentation in EMR.
• Support staff and stay current with procedures and protocols.
