Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Denver for Pediatric Med Surg/Peds Step Down with a 13-week seasonal contract and 36 hours per week on nights (12 hours). Start ASAP for Colorado licensed RNs with at least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience.

Active CO or compact RN license and BLS required; benefits include Day 1 insurance, 401(k), housing stipends, travel and licensure reimbursements, and CEU access.

Qualifications

• Active CO or Compact RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent pediatric nursing experience
• AHA/ARC BLS certification required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Pediatric Step Down unit (Peds Step Down-4CN)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel contract position
• Patient population consists of pediatric step-down level cases
• Care for pediatric patients transitioning from critical care
• Function effectively in a step-down environment with pediatric patients
• Scrub or dress code guidelines per hospital policy
• Seasonal contract with defined start and end dates
