Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Minneapolis, MN. The role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a chance to impact pediatric patients while enjoying comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of pediatric RN experience, an active RN license, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certification. Travel experience preferred and additional certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pediatric RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to children and families in an appropriate manner.
• Administer prescribed medications with pediatric dosing considerations.
• Prepare and manage pediatric equipment and assist during treatment.
• Ensure comfort and safety of pediatric patients while addressing developmental needs.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes to the supervisor or physician.
• Take vital signs and assess patient condition for appropriate responses.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record.
• Collaborate with families to develop and implement care plans.
