Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Willits, California. The RT will provide pediatric-focused respiratory care to adults and geriatrics, working independently and possibly supervising others, with duties aligned to department policies.

The role requires NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT), state license, BLS and ALS/NRP/PALS/PEARS where applicable, and Epic EMR experience. Travel, housing support, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; NBRC credential (RRT/CRT) or eligible; BLS/NRP/ACLS/PALS/PEARS certifications may be required.
• Experience in pediatric respiratory care and critical care settings preferred.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week, travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document prescribed respiratory therapy and orders.
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy; perform arterial blood gas draws.
• Care for ventilator patients and monitor equipment.
• Provide patient and family education and collaborate with nursing staff.
