Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pensacola, Florida. The role requires NBRC credentialing and CPR certification, with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of respiratory care experience, preferably in critical care, and will provide high-quality patient care while adhering to regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications

• NBRC credential for Respiratory Therapist required.
• CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies.
• Develop and/or implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional relations with management, staff, patients and families.
• Instruct patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
