Job summary

Ochsner Health System in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead program delivery, develop and execute project work plans, oversee day-to-day operations, and coordinate delivery of care with a multidisciplinary team across departments. The role requires an RN with 5 years of nursing experience, supervisory background, current RN license, and BLS.

You will ensure compliance, handle education initiatives, and guide staff through process improvements in a dynamic hospital

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
  • Preferred BSN and clinical specialty certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manages implementation timelines, ongoing clinical and technical support, and development of site-specific education and improvement strategies.
  • Conducts system and process reviews on targeted operational and service functions to validate or recommend implementation opportunities to improve productivity, customer service and/or quality of operations.
  • Serves as a liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners and participates in meetings, conferences, in-services, as required.
  • Serves as a team lead.
  • Chairs committees as assigned.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population and ensures privacy and appropriate communication during care.
