Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Neenah seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide transport-related respiratory care for neonatal to pediatric patients and their families.

The position features night shifts (0.6 or 0.75) and every third weekend, with sign-on and shift bonuses; Wisconsin licensure and RRT credentials are required.

You will participate in education, discharge planning, collaboration with the care team, and continuous quality improvement to support safe, high‑quality patient transport.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• 1+ years of critical care experience in neonatal, pediatric, or adult critical care ICU experience preferred for transport duties.
• Wisconsin license as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or eligible; RRT credential preferred.
• BLS, NRP and PALS certifications required or in 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains respiratory care modalities for neonatal to pediatric patients.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient/family education to promote wellness.
• Collaborates with the care team and medical control to ensure safe transport and patient care.
• Develops and follows department education material and participates in quality improvement.
• Rotates shifts and covers weekends as needed to meet patient care needs.
