Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Janesville, WI. The role requires Peds-RRT with 1 year of acute care experience, NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS. 13-week duration, 36 hours weekly, 12-hour nights. Travel benefits and stipend may apply.

The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care across clinical areas and maintain meticulous documentation. Collaboration with clinicians is essential to ensure top patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Peds-RRT with 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas per procedural guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyses per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and hospital staff to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring Respiratory support.
