Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a hospital transport paramedic to deliver age‑appropriate patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. You’ll perform comprehensive assessments, IV placement, and medication administration while ensuring safe transport and effective handoffs across Neonate to Adolescent patients.

Required: Georgia Paramedic license (EMT-P), BLS; ACLS and PALS within indicated timeframes, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Competencies defined by department must be completed within six months of employment.
• Proficient in vital signs and general assessments.
• Must pass Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80%+ within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competencies that incorporate age-specific guidelines (neonate to adolescent).
• May perform as team leader and assist in delivery of patient care.
• Prioritizes and delivers dependable, effective patient care.
• Manages time effectively.
• Participates in shift change report.
