Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Paramedic to join our Transport team. You will provide quality patient care within the hospital, under supervision of licensed professionals, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient care delivery.

The role requires Georgia Paramedic (EMT-P) license, BLS/ACLS/PALS within required timelines, and at least one year of patient care experience. A high school diploma is required and hospital transport protocols apply.

Qualifications

• Must be in compliance with Georgia CE requirements and DHR regulations for paramedics.
• 1 year of experience in patient care.
• Georgia Paramedic license (EMT-P) and BLS/ACLS/PALS within specified timelines.
• Eligibility to operate Children's Healthcare of Atlanta vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competencies that include age-specific guidelines and comprehensive assessment.
• May serve as team leader and assist in delivering patient care per licensure and protocols.
• Prioritizes and delivers dependable, effective patient care across diverse situations.
• Maintains and uses transport equipment; participates in shift change reports.
• Supports orientation of new staff and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
