Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, GA is seeking a paramedic for transport services. You will provide age-appropriate patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team and work under supervision of a licensed professional inside the hospital.

Required certification and licensure, ongoing education, and the ability to perform under emergency conditions. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in med administration, and collaboration with caregivers and MDs to deliver high-quality care.

Formación

• 1 year of experience in patient care.
• Must comply with Georgia continuing education requirements as outlined by Georgia Code 3, 31-11-58.1 and DHR regulations for paramedics.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates competencies that incorporate age-specific guidelines (Neonate to Adult).
• Demonstrates comprehensive assessment skills within scope of assigned responsibilities.
• May perform as team leader and assist in delivery of patient care according to licensure and protocols.
• Prioritizes and delivers dependable, effective patient care in diverse situations.
• Demonstrates five rights of medication administration within scope of practice.
• Participates in shift change report and supports orientation of new staff.
