Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring RN and LVN candidates for pediatric home health nursing across the Sherman, TX area. The role focuses on high-acuity patients, training caregivers, and ensuring safe continuity of care in the home environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN/LPN license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience with trach care and ventilator management.
• Experience with TPN management in pediatric patients.
• Pediatric home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled pediatric nursing in patients’ homes.
• Perform patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Support hospital-to-home transitions for high-acuity patients.
• Educate and support parents, families, and caregivers.
• Assist with discharge support and care coordination.
• Train and support permanent field nurses during transitions.
• Provide first-shift and interim coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with Clinical Care Managers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond appropriately in emergencies.

This role is ideal for nurses who are confident working with high-acuity patients and skilled in trach, vent, G-tube, and emergency management. What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to lift and assist pediatric patients as needed
• Experience with Trach care and Ventilator management post graduation
• TPN management
• High-acuity pediatric patients (preferred)
• Emergency response management
• Pediatric home health experience

Schedule & Travel

• Full-time position, with guaranteed hours
• Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and Nurse availability
• 5 working days per week, minimum 1 weekend day
• On call and Staffing coverage responsibilities as needed
• Local travel within approximately 30-40 miles
