Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the home setting for a young client in Edison, NJ. The role emphasizes bedside nursing, family collaboration, and maintaining a safe home environment for the child.

Ideal candidates have pediatric experience, tracheostomy/ventilator/G‑tube skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in good standing in New Jersey.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the client’s home.
• Travel to the client’s home with a flexible schedule.
• Follow physicians’ orders and document interventions accurately.
• Monitor patient status and document observations.
• Collaborate with family to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Clinical Experience Preferred:

Available Shifts:

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This is a great opportunity to provide meaningful 1:1 care in the comfort of a client’s home while helping a child remain safely at home with their family.

• Traditional shifts (4’s, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day

Qualifications for a private duty Registered Nurse:

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay up to $39/hr based on qualifications
• Flexible scheduling with no minimums (full-time, part-time, per diem)
