Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Unit Supervisor RN to coordinate and supervise daily operations, ensuring high quality patient care and an excellent patient experience. You will lead department personnel, collaborate with physicians and center staff, and guide care delivery to align with age-appropriate needs.

Requirements include current RN license (BSN or higher) and 2–3 years of progressive nursing experience, with leadership ability.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a registered nurse (RN).
• Experience: Approximately two to three years progressively more responsible related work experience, including at least two years clinical experience as an RN.
• Ability to gain professional competence in nursing care techniques and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise daily operations of the Unit.
• Direct the delivery of care by department personnel to ensure patient outcomes and high quality care.
• Foster positive working relationships among staff, physicians and center personnel.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
