Job summary

Interim Healthcare is hiring an RN for Pediatric Surgery Center in the Twin Cities metro for part-time, per-diem coverage. The role focuses on pre-operative assessments, intraoperative monitoring, and post-operative care including pain management and discharge planning.

You’ll work with a collaborative clinical team across multiple centers and contribute to patient education and safety. Shifts run Monday through Friday with 8-hour blocks, starting as early as 6:30 am and ending by 7:00 pm.

Qualifications

• ADN degree or equivalent nursing credential.
• Current RN license with the State of MN.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Experience in pre-op and post-op care (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative preparation, including assessments, meds, and education.
• Monitor patients during surgery and manage vitals, sedation, and pain.
• Provide post-operative care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families throughout the surgical experience.
• Collaborate with the clinical team for safe, coordinated care.
• Document care and outcomes promptly and accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
