PeaceHealth is seeking a full-time Pediatric Surgeon to join Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Eugene, Oregon. The role involves providing compassionate, high-quality pediatric surgical care within licensure and credentialing scope, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families.

The position requires MD/DO with fellowship in Pediatric Surgery, Oregon licensure or eligibility, and board certification or eligibility within five years.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited School of Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Surgery.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physician in the State of Oregon.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve certification within five years of training completion).
• DEA registration and Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Practice medicine within the scope of licensure, training, and credentialing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent outcomes for pediatric patients and families.
• Provide care consistent with established standards of care and quality guidelines.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care appropriate to the age and developmental needs of the patient.
• Work varied hours, including on-call and callback responsibilities.
