Job summary

Pediatric Surgery Associates in Southern Nevada is expanding and seeking a board-eligible or board-certified pediatric surgeon to join our independent, physician-owned practice. We are building new programs across Sunrise Children’s Hospital and Summerlin Hospital with flexible call and growing footprint in a community that needs a dedicated pediatric surgical leader.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency.
• Completion or planned completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
• Eligibility for unrestricted Nevada medical license.
• Active or eligible DEA registration.
• Eligibility for hospital privileges at Sunrise Hospital, Summerlin Hospital and other hospitals where Pediatric Surgery Associates will serve patients.

Responsibilities

• Practice the full spectrum of pediatric surgery including neonatal, MIS, foregut and colorectal.
• Provide pediatric trauma coverage at Sunrise Children's Hospital.
• Operate across two hospital systems with meaningful case volume and autonomy.
• Share equally in a balanced call schedule for sustainability.

Education

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
