Job summary

Pediatric Surgery Associates in Las Vegas is expanding and seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric surgeon to help build the future of pediatric surgery in Southern Nevada. This independent, physician-owned group operates across Sunrise Children's Hospital and Summerlin Hospital with meaningful case volume and clinical autonomy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
• Completion or planned completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship
• Board certification or Board eligibility in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
• Eligibility for unrestricted Nevada medical license
• Active or eligible DEA registration
• Eligibility for hospital privileges at Sunrise Hospital, Summerlin Hospital and other hospitals where Pediatric Surgery Associates will serve patients

Responsibilities

• Practice the full spectrum of pediatric surgery — neonatal, minimally invasive, foregut and colorectal, oncology, ECMO, and general pediatric procedures
• Provide pediatric trauma coverage at Sunrise Children's Hospital, an ACS Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Operate across two major hospital systems (Sunrise Children’s Hospital and Summerlin Hospital) with meaningful case volume and real clinical autonomy
• Share equally in a balanced three (possibly four) surgeon call schedule, built for sustainability, not survival

Education

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency

ACGME-accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship

Board certification or Board eligibility in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery by the ABS

Eligibility for unrestricted Nevada medical license

Active or eligible DEA registration

Eligibility for hospital privileges at Sunrise Hospital, Summerlin Hospital and other affiliated hospitals
