Job summary

Pediatric Surgery Associates in Southern Nevada is expanding and seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric surgeon to lead and shape the next chapter of care.

You will practice the full spectrum from neonatal to complex foregut and colorectal procedures, provide trauma coverage at Sunrise Children's Hospital, and collaborate across Sunrise and Summerlin Hospital with meaningful autonomy and a sustainable on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible pediatric surgeon with strong technical skills.
• Ability to operate with autonomy and contribute to program development.
• Experience building clinical programs and partnerships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum pediatric surgery including neonatal and advanced procedures.
• Deliver pediatric trauma coverage as part of a regional trauma system.
• Operate across Sunrise Children's Hospital and Summerlin Hospital with substantial case volume.
• Share in a sustainable on-call schedule with colleagues.

Pediatric Surgery Associates is expanding and we're looking for a pediatric surgeon to help shape what comes next.

We’re not a hospital-employed group. We’re not owned by private equity.

We’re an independent, physician-owned practice at a genuine inflection point: expanding our footprint across two hospital systems and building the kind of programs that don't yet exist anywhere else in the region.

What You'll Do

• Practice the full spectrum of pediatric surgery — neonatal, minimally invasive, foregut and colorectal, oncology, ECMO, and general pediatric procedures
• Provide pediatric trauma coverage at Sunrise Children's Hospital, an ACS Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Operate across two major hospital systems (Sunrise Children’s Hospital and Summerlin Hospital) with meaningful case volume and real clinical autonomy
• Share equally in a balanced three (possibly four) surgeon call schedule, built for sustainability, not survival

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
• Completion or planned completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Surgery fellowship
• Board certification or Board eligibility in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery by the American Board of Surgery
• Eligibility for unrestricted Nevada medical license
• Active or eligible DEA registration
• Eligibility for hospital privileges at Sunrise Hospital, Summerlin Hospital and other hospitals where Pediatric Surgery Associates will serve patients
