Job summary

La Rabida Children’s Hospital, a pediatric specialty provider in Chicago, seeks a Supply Chain & Central Supply Manager to lead operations across Central Supply, Receiving, and Purchasing. You will coordinate staff, manage inventory, and ensure cost-effective supplies for inpatient units and clinics.

Responsibilities include verifying receipts, processing orders, tracking shortages, and collaborating with care teams to optimize substitutions and workflow.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: At least 3 years in central supply, receiving, purchasing, or healthcare supply chain; pediatric hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply storage, distribution, and replenishment for units, clinics, and kits.
• Verify receipts against purchase orders; resolve discrepancies and record receipts promptly.
• Process purchase orders; follow up on open orders and confirm delivery dates.
• Track shortages and substitutions, coordinate formulary-aligned changes with staff.
• Participate in GHX analytics and monitor order performance to drive improvements.
• Lead staff workflow and provide coverage when needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, infection control, and regulatory standards.
