Job summary

The Nemours Foundation in Wilmington, Delaware seeks a Registered Nurse for the general pediatrics stepdown unit. This is a FULL-TIME position with 72 hours biweekly, night shifts, and every third weekend/holiday rotation.

The unit handles post-operative pediatric care with advanced monitoring and supportive equipment. The ideal candidate will have pediatric nursing experience, at least 6 months, a licensed DE RN, BLS certification, and preferably a BSN.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; if associate's degree, must receive BSN within three years.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Eligible for or have current DE nursing license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative pediatric care on a general pediatrics stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes with nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to plan and implement patient care.
