Job summary

Loma Linda University Children's Hospital is seeking a Coordinator-Transplant 1 in the Transplant and Cellular Therapy program. The role coordinates pediatric stem cell transplant care, conducts assessments, and documents care in the electronic medical record.

The RN will work with nursing leadership to ensure quality patient-centered care, manage referrals, coordinate workups, monitor labs, and support families throughout the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in stem cell transplant or oncology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre- and post-transplant care and case manage patients.
• Evaluate referrals and coordinate initial evaluation meeting.
• Monitor labs and coordinate timing of apheresis.
• Educate patients/parents/caregivers and document care.
• Participate in quality improvement and team self-management.
