Job summary
Banner Health's Banner Children's Specialists in Glendale, AZ, is seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on sports medicine. This is a turnkey opportunity to build a sports medicine program within a large, integrated system and to collaborate with subspecialists and hospitalists.
You will provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care for pediatric and adolescent sports injuries, participate in general pediatric orthopedic call, and engage with regional sports teams while
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
- Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery with additional Fellowship in Sports Medicine highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized surgical and non-surgical care for pediatric and adolescent sports injuries.
- Take general pediatric orthopedic emergency room call.
- Opportunity to work with regional sports teams.
- Maintain high standard of patient-centered care in outpatient setting.
