Job summary

Therapy 2000 is a mission-driven team delivering pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services at patients’ homes across Texas. This role focuses on speech-language pathology assistance for children, collaborating with a Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to implement treatment plans and home exercise programs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in pediatric SLPA roles, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and experience in home-health settings.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience in home-health setting preferred.
• 3+ years as pediatric Speech Language Pathology Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy treatments under Supervising Speech Language Pathologist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Coordinate care between providers and disciplines in patients’ medical neighborhoods.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Engage with agency personnel to understand expectations and standards for high-quality care.
• Comply with agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
