Qualifications

• A degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from a local university or equivalent.
• Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.
• English Language and Chinese Language requirements as part of entry qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment to patients with general communication and swallowing disorders independently.
• Deliver speech therapy services to complicated and difficult cases under the guidance of senior therapists.
• Conduct high-risk procedures / specialized tests under supervision of senior therapists.
• Provide counseling / education to patients and carers to maximize benefits of therapy.
• Document all clinical activities accurately for case management.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary healthcare programmes.
