Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist after certificate of clinical competence.
• Bachelor or Master or Doctoral degree with certification in Speech Language Pathology or foreign trained equivalent.
• California SLP license required at hire; BLS needed; NPI required at hire; ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services under supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, or Clinical Supervisor.
• Leads department in-service and provides staff mentorship as needed.
• Assists in orientation and training of employees.
• Provides consultation to staff and participates in performance improvement projects.
• May develop and implement new clinical practice models for care delivery.
