Job summary

Associates in Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. You will work under a licensed SLP to support a diverse caseload of pediatric patients, delivering individualized care in a nurturing setting designed to help kids shine.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with SLPA program completion from an accredited university.
• Current license to practice.
• National boards passed.
• Solid understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders under supervision of a speech language pathologist.
• Prepare detailed documentation of treatment, duration, and progress toward outcomes.
• Follow therapy plans to meet individual needs of a diverse patient population.
• Prepare therapy materials and equipment; adapt instructional materials as needed.
• Assist with screenings to detect communication disorders.
• Educate patients, parents, and caregivers about speech disorders and treatment plans.
• Report patient progress to families and medical professionals.
