Job summary

Pediatrics Plus is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support children birth through 21 in a collaborative pediatric care environment. Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, you will provide therapy across home, school, daycare, outpatient clinics, and community settings.

The role emphasizes teamwork with administrators and other disciplines, documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Meets state/licensing requirements to practice as an SLPA.
• Maintain supervision and licensure documentation.
• Ability to communicate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to participate in meetings and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide SLPA services to children 0-21 under SLP supervision.
• Collaborate with admin and other disciplines to ensure quality services.
• Deliver therapy in home, daycare, schools, clinic and community.
• Schedule caseload by contacting parents/guardians.
• Maintain weekly progress notes with proper documentation.
• Update schedules in deTASO or other software as directed.
• Complete paperwork requirements in a timely manner (EI paperwork if needed).
• Attend required meetings and professional development; participate in conferences.
• Provide feedback to administration for program improvement.
