Join Cleveland Clinic Westlake Medical Campus in the rehabilitation department where speech-language pathology is provided in a one-on-one, hands-on setting to improve communication and swallowing in pediatric patients.

The position offers opportunity to float among Cleveland Clinic locations, requires a Master’s, SP license, CCC-SLP, and completion of a nine-month clinical fellowship, with a schedule 8:00am-6:30pm and 7:00am-5:30pm on some days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
• Hold or be eligible for a Speech-Language Pathology License (SP) from the State Board.
• Hold (SP) license in current state upon start date.
• Hold Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Completion of a nine-month clinical fellowship year.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic speech pathology tests and evaluate communication and swallowing.
• Interpret results to aid medical diagnosis; report findings to families.
• Develop and adjust therapeutic plans including frequency and duration.
• Counsel patients and families about communication diagnosis and therapy.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate care across locations.
