Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-8 students in a school-based setting for the full academic year. This contract position offers a flexible part-time schedule at 18-20 hours per week, with a caseload of 33 students and on-site or teletherapy delivery as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-8 students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions on-site or via teletherapy.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain timely documentation per state and school guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
  • Provide CFY mentorship if applicable.

This contract opportunity offers a flexible, part-time schedule, spanning 2.5 to 3 days per week (18-20 hours), making it ideal for professionals seeking meaningful work-life balance. You’ll serve a manageable caseload of 33 students, providing support that fosters their growth and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license (Illinois)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of teletherapy platforms a plus
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and commitment to student-centered practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions—on-site or via teletherapy as needed

  • Provide mentorship and support for CFY candidates, if applicable
