Job summary

DV Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive pediatric therapy in a clinic setting in Covina, CA. You will evaluate and treat children, plan individualized goals, and supervise SLPAs and clinical fellows, ensuring high-quality care across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Active California SLP license in good standing.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required/preferred as applicable.
• Two years (≈3,000 hours) of licensed SLP experience is ideal; open to chat with varying levels.

This is a pediatric SLP role with the full scope intact: evaluation, treatment planning, AAC, feeding, parent coaching, and every clinical judgment call that comes with them. DV Therapy is still owned by the speech pathologist who started it — Iddo deVries, MS CCC-SLP, who runs the speech program himself so the clinical expectations here were set by someone who has written the reports and sat with the families. You'll have SLPAs supporting your treatment load, which means your license gets spent on the work only you can do, not on a schedule padded to hit a number.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric clients with speech, language, and communication needs.

• Build individualized treatment plans around goals that matter to the kid and the family.

• Send families home with activities they'll actually do — engaging, measurable, and worth the effort.

• Write SOAP notes that carry real data, both the numbers and what you saw.

• Supervise Clinical Fellows and help new clinicians find their footing here.

• Contribute to in-service training, research initiatives, and community and family education.

• Work directly with the OTs, BCBAs, and SLPAs treating the same children.

• Show up for team and company-wide meetings with current, specific updates.

• Supervise SLPAs in line with California's supervision requirements.

• Manage your schedule in CentralReach.

What You'll Need

• Active California SLP license, in good standing

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

• Ideal candidates have two years (roughly 3,000 hours) of experience as a licensed SLP, but we'd still love to chat with those who don't quite have that yet

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a real asset with our families, but not required

Before your first day

Current CPR certification and a TB test within the past year. If you need either, we'll help you get them — this isn't a screen, it's onboarding.
