Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - School-age

Details about this opportunity:
- Location: Suffolk County school districts and/or homecare
- Status: Fee for Service or Full-Time potential
- Hours: During or after school
- Compensation: FFS rate of $60/hour, Full-Time salary $60,000-$68,000 (range dependent on experience and credentials)

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement therapeutic interventions for individual and group cases
- Conduct and document speech and language evaluations
- Communicate with supervisors, families, school teams, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs
- Create and manage schedules with families and school personnel
- Track progress on IFSP/IEP goals and report quarterly
- Participate in initial and annual CPSE/CSE meetings
Evaluation Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations in various settings
- Write detailed reports on abilities and difficulties
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and evaluation teams
- Develop functional goals using IEP guidelines

Qualifications:
- Current NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum 1-year experience supporting children and families
- Bilingual skills are a plus
