Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist- Schoolage

Family of Kidz is hiring and has immediate openings! If you are looking to create your own schedule and have a passion for helping kids, you’re in the right place!

Details about this opportunity:

  • Location: Nassau County school districts and/or homecare
  • Status: Fee for Service or Full-Time potential
  • Hours: During or after school
  • Compensation: FFS rate of $60/hour, Full-Time salary $60,000-$68,000 (rates depend on experience, licensing, and caseload)

PART TIME BENEFITS:

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions
  • Administer and write speech and language evaluations
  • Communicate with supervisors and coordinators regarding case management
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
  • Keep accurate attendance and billing logs
  • Create and maintain schedules with families and school personnel
  • Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly
  • Participate in initial and annual CPSE/CSE meetings
Evaluation Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations in various settings
  • Write detailed evaluation reports
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team
  • Develop functional goals using IEP guidelines
