Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide homecare-based therapy across Westchester County, NY, with some occasional virtual sessions. The role offers either full-time or fee-for-service options, flexible hours, and a supportive team environment.

Eligible candidates hold NYS SLP licensure, CCC-SLP (AHSA), and TSSLD/TSHH certifications, with at least one year of relevant experience. Candidates who are bilingual are preferred and valued within a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• NYS Speech Language Pathologist Licensure required.
• AHSA Certification (CCC-SLP) required.
• NYSED TSSLD/TSHH Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in settings supporting children and families.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic interventions for caseload (individual or group).
• Administer and write up speech/language evaluations.
• Communicate with lead supervisors and coordinators about case management.
• Maintain professional relationships with families, school teams, and professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs and coordinate schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload
• Administer and write up speech and language evaluations
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs
• Create and maintain schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel
• Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews

Responsibilities for Evaluations:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home and/or preschool based settings
• Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports demonstrating the child’s abilities and areas of
• difficulties
• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team
• Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP direct
